Album Info:The Hampton Branch is a small branch line off of CSX's Peninsula Subdivision in Hampton, Virginia. The line once went to the historic Fort Monroe and the town of Phoebus, but now ends in Hampton. Fort Monroe is best known for being milepost zero on the C&O Railway. This line sees a regular rock train from a quarry in Verdon, Virginia to two aggregate distributors in Hampton. The Hampton Branch was best known for being used to store the Ringling Brothers train whenever the circus was in town. This album also includes photos from the Copeland Industrial Park which is no longer rail served.
