Album Info:This album contains photos of railroad depots and a caboose or two in Virginia. Although I have not photographed all the depots, I can only hope what I have is good enough. Description:  In 2009 the depot was relocated to the other side of the tracks and a caboose is now next to it. The depot museum is open on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.

Description:  It is hard to shoot this depot because the only road by it is a highway entence ramp for I-264 and so this is a drive by shot. The depot is accessible by Race Street.

Chessie Caboose
Title:  Chessie Caboose
Description:  When was the last time you saw a caboose fly? This Chessie Cat took a flying leap from the CSX main line to a display track next to the restored 1881 depot in the town of Lee Hall, Virginia. The C27A bay window caboose was built by Fruit Growers Express in June of 1980 and was eventually renumbered to CSXT 900066 in 2002. CSX retired this caboose in April 2018 and was in the process of soliciting bids to scrap it when I stepped up and coordinated the donation to the Lee Hall Trains Station Foundation.
